I think the goalkeeper's "confidence" died after 2 goals in 3 minutes in the 1st half. They took this concept from hockey, and in football it more often acts as a subsequent increase in the performance of the goalie after 2 successful actions in a short period of time.
it's not like hockey. you can't change the goalkeeper here...
Why? You have 3 subs in the match
you can't set that if he gets 3 goals in the first half that he will substitute... it's done differently than hockey.

I'm 99% sure that "confidence" exists for goalkeepers also in football. Naturally, I can't prove it, but haven't you met matches where the keeper either suddenly becomes a wall or starts missing a lot?

This does not happen very often, and may well be considered one of a bunch of other manifestations of random that the manager cannot control.

V životě jsem nefandil Íránu a asi nikdy už nebudu, ale dnes jsem musel, a nebylo to nic plátné...PPM asi chce dát tomu hroznému týmu medaile za celoživotní snahu
Hmm z 3:1 mi otočil v 88. minutě na 3:4. Nechápu. Držím palce. Takovou kliku jsem snad ještě na PPM neviděl...
