Asunto: Reporting bugs

1. It's now possible to send a message in the chat on a market player, but the text is not formated.

2. No stats.

3. Manager experience remained at 0 or 11.

4. Forums in "country" Africa, Asia, South America, North America, Europe exist (I posted in Divisions I.1 North America and Asia) but are not listed.

5. If since one of these league forums I try to visit other sections of the "country", I arrive at the forum of my country.

6. Minihelp texts in all pages of Football: the text is not formated.

7. I build a stand, but the image of the stadium didn't change, it still without the picture of a stand.

8. I had a slightly injured player yesterday (1 day injury) and decided to play him anyway (play w/ injury set to "yes", kept the guy in the lineup). But it's the substitute who played the game.

9. Problem with my lineup in Google Chrome v. 5.0.375.28, cant replace players:

11. The experience of players in the Line-up selection screen is wrong. some players have 189 experience in my team, all players who played have a experience more then 70:

At the players page the experience is shown correctly


12. You still go to your division page when you click the torunaments button(only when you click the little cup logo).

Indeed, this is a game, but if the game is going to allow us to place players in different formations, then the game should also take into account the offensive and defensive coverage those formations create.

I don't believe so, no. Or, more accurately, i don't believe the programming fully covers the formations as good as it should.

Can you give me an example ?

Just recently started to change formation and lineup for my next game and after changing my goalie, all my lineup was gone (only 2 guys left). "Settings" page with caption,penalty kick, etc, is empty now too...

known issue. will be fixed later. it happens when you uncheck someone who is on the field. it messes the whole thing up

I've seen countless game reports were people set their formations in silly patters, sometimes all on the right, or all on the left... while the other team set a standard formation of forwards, midfielders and defense... and the crazy formation won. That's not realistic.

Yep, it's a known issue, I reported it myself to vlady, can be added to the list, tho

I, for one, would like to voice my agreement with trueblue. If you have a ridiculous setup like lining up all your defenders down one side, you deserve to get destroyed in the score.

Personally I think the best way to get around this is to remove the "attack down left/centre/middle" options and assume a somewhat even attack.

For example, in hockey we don't have this concept of "primarily enter the opponent's zone via the left side". It's silly.

I can appreciate what the designers/developers were trying to do, and maybe they've got a better way in mind to deal with these weird formations in the simulation, but to me that'd be the easiest way to get around this nonsense.

And it is nonsense, I don't care what anyone thinks.

Guys, now that I've said that, this is the bug thread. I'm going to start a new thread in the same forum for this formation discussion. Please refrain from continuing this conversation here in the bug thread.

Football is very different than hockey.
Even in real life, if a team has a good winger, most of the attacks will be on that side !
Here is a good example: Barcelona. They always plays a possesion game, concentrating their attacks on center (Xavi + S. Keita influenced by CF: Messi and by DM: Yaya Toure or Busquets)

It's not a nonsense !
