I agree with you, but only in case that the foreign manager doesn't know the native language. Communication with community is more than important.
Otherwise, I can't see any reason for that.

I was assistant manager for Croatian NT, and in beginnings I was seen as a foreigner, but after few games they started to like me, and even give me support for managing their NT.

hmm, well in real life, i think that communication isnt the biggest problem i spose it doesn't matter too much in this game, but for me international sports should be the best of one country against the other, players including managers. its just my opinion *runs away*.

Communication is not important ?
Community must be involved, must be part of National Team staff. This National Team is not something which represent the general manager and it's assistant, but it's something that represents the entire community from that country.
The need to know what and why some players are selected, what tactics you pick for games and why you pick them. They must say if they agree, if they want something else ...and so on.

Im sad to say that when it comes to the uk community, just about all of the active forum posters have allready posted in this thread...

That's not good. All users should be involved. We are talking about a team that represents all of them.

This can be done by future manager. He can bring ppl to forum, if he knows how. One fact is clear: NT needs community members!

Well in my experience getting people in the UK to do anything is pretty hard lol. I tried to help out some people in my league and things, they respond a bit lol. but people dont seem to be active in the community at all.

i was explaining why i would prefer to have an english manager, and was refering to real life, i didnt say communication isnt important. i said in real life that isnt why having a foreign manager is really that bad. because like capello they can speak english.

First I want to say thank you everybody who gave me the vote. I hope that my work with the team will be succesfull and in the end of season we will celebrate the participation in top division. As I said in candidacy - for success of team we will need help all of you.

Mainly it means we need update the database of players. So everybody who think that own quality players for national team, please update the database on the following link : nt-hockey.czechppm.cz/uk/...
From this database I can choose players for representation.

Another important point is the choice of my assistant. I would like to chose manager who has experiences with the UK national team (of course I prefer with england nationality). Assitent will be introduced in a few days.
