I'm trying to figure this out: what does the +/- rating mean? (Sometimes it is high and sometimes it is low, but I can't figure out why.) And how is it calculated?
Also, if +/- doesn't count for pp or pk lines, why do I have lines with different ratings? Like: hockey.powerplaymanager.c... happened with the +/- rating in this game?
"It measures a player's goal differential. When an even-strength goal or shorthanded goal is scored, the plus–minus statistic is increased by one ("plus" ) for those players on the ice for the team scoring the goal; the plus–minus statistic is decreased by one ("minus" ) for those players on the ice for the team allowing the goal.[1] Power play or penalty shot goals are excluded. An empty net does not matter for the calculation of plus–minus."
Think it affects Popularity. Popularity affects Attendance.
Maybe it affects also on "Momentum".
It is a long time ago that I played hockey here for real
it has an influence on the selection of the stars of the game and all star team and therefore also on the popularity of a player. but it's main value is statistical. it gives you a better idea of how your players are valuable to the team.
My player will become RFA 1 somewhere in the middle of next season. How can I prepare myself and calculate the fee he's about to request to stay in the team?
