We have been thinking about creating the Irish leagues of course. But the problem is that you guys don't have a captain and there is a risk that the number will drop below 50. We've had similar experience with Israel and Chile in the past. It looks as though you will have to wait at least another season.

Too bad about the wait, Ireland.
In the meantime, I made a list because I like them...

Should Ireland have got its own leagues now, and the method was a direct filter-up method, it would be quite sides towards the front of the tree. Here is what I have:

Hey Temm....how did you make your list? I like lists too and this is a nice one.....as it has me up one more division.....where I would certainly be pwnd!

Mostly a manual process.
1. Browse through playoff pages for Other World and note positions.
2. Discard teams from countries other than Ireland.
3. Order teams in order they finished, with the exception that demoting teams go after teams promoting at the same time across the same boundary.
4. Filter up the remaining teams by playoff rank in their individual divisions into where they would go if they promoted.

I made one for the firs bit of Other World without the Irish teams - that one certainly is of more effort.

I'm guessing if they did this, if wouldn't be a full filter up like above. It'd work for rung I, but the remaining teams would probably be dispersed evenly in rung II, with no rung III.

Yeah - Prowlers would fly right up there. The teams I listed after yours didn't rank as well in their respective divisions.

Too bad about not getting your own leagues for a while. I wonder if there are other solutions that could work. Not having a NT cuts into the national pride and the level of involvement new managers feel. I wonder if there could be a separate tournament for Other World countries. That way no extra leagues need to be created, the Other World divisions don't need to be pillaged of its Irish, Israeli, and Chilean teams, and players in small countries could enjoy an NT tournament as well.

We could also have regional leagues, rather than national ones. Maybe we Chinese, Japanese and Korean managers could set aside our historical differences and rise to international glory while making PPM more entertaining for people in our countries at the same time.

It would be nice to see a new country with its own league and a national team. Ireland has many users and they deserve their league, but in the meantime I think that the best solution is to create a national team for the rest of the world. PPM will grow with more users and slowly new leagues and NT will be created. I'm sure that a NT for Rest of the World is accepted by almost all PPM users.
