I have repeated this many times. The only thing that changed with the shooting, is that players who have poor shooting attribute compared to the rest of the attys are being penalized when taking their shots. I think that is dumbo's case
No, it's not.
How many times do you think would let's say Greece or Turkey beat Canada, USA, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia, Finland or Sweden in real life 500 matches. 29? That's almost 6 in 100 or 3 in 50.
I don't think so.

Yep, have noticed that at my games also. Players who used to be consistent scorers seem to have become rather inconsistent
so train shooting i do. LOL

It's my friends games. But I thought they were a very good example on how a good team loose to a (on the paper) weaker team, and like you said, mostly because of poor shooting.
I know this is unrelated, but in the early English premier League season Newcastle United (my team) beat Chealsea. That win was a major shock to most... but the point is, weaker teams "can" beat stronger ones.
Of course they can. And I am not saying there is anything wrong with it. But in this case, the two games were two league games in a row.
What I would like to find out (not something Vlady is going to tell us) is how much of a favorite my friend was in the matches. Is he being penalized so much that he would only win 6 out of 10 games, or is he in fact that much stronger that he should win 9 out of 10.
But I can also see that we are in the Reporting bugs thread, and we should probably move the debate to another place...

I consider it a bug, so it can stay here...
I have no problem losing to a wekaer team as long as that team is comparable to mine in some strenghts, or plays right countertactics (which supposely are less effective now), or plays with higher importance etc.
Losing 29 of 500 (3 of 50) to this particular team is way to much.

Losing is not a bug, seriously guys. On any given night, any team can win, otherwise this would be a boring game. Let's let the Devs focus on what might be real bugs/problems instead of crying about losses
this isnt a case of Greece vs Canada. He is definitely not as bad as Greece and you are not as good as Canada. Besides, you gave most ice time to lines 2-4 which makes the difference smaller and you also played your backup goalie. If you played against a team with strength ca. 12 then I would say its a case of Slovenia vs Greece and I would say that Greece would probably never beat Slovenia in hockey given the current situation.
Yeah, right.
It's not crying about loses. It's a problem of too many upsets in results.

Ok, forget Greece. Let's look at WC Top Division since year 2000. I have chosen Canada, USA, Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Finland and Sweden as one group of teams. The other group is composed of teams, that are roaming between Top Division and Division I: Austria, Italy, France, Slovenia and Japan.
I'm sure that my team was much more comparable to 1st group teams than opponent was to 2nd group teams.
In 67 matches between teams one from ea

In 67 matches between teams one from each group, there were 2 draws and 2 wins for 2nd group teams. This ratio is quite similar to 3/50, but the strengths difference in my match was way bigger that the quality difference between this two groups.
Then, if you like to compare my team to Slovenia, we can compare the opponent not to Greece (strength 12 team), but to WC division II teams, like Australia, Belgium, Croatia, DPR Korea, Romania etc. Also to some division I teams (the ones that are switching between I and II) and even to some teams that are regular division I participants.
And the score would be about 50-0 for the last 18 years.
