It has been recommended before. It is a server load issue.
Riddle me this: Why is the first tie-breaker for points more goals then less games played, but the tie-breaker for goals is less games played then more points? Seems inconsistent.
some things don't have to make sense. take them for what they are. Why does the NHL have goals as a tie-breaker for Art Ross Trophy, but there are no tie-breakers for Maurice Richard Trophy? Same kind of inconsistency.
We are just following the norm in hockey with the tie-breaker for points. We just added a few tie-breakers of our own on top of that. Same for goals.

The changes to the Promotion/Relegation system are a result of suggestions from our community. This should balance out our leagues starting at div2 and working down. Keep the good suggestions coming!

I've kinda read over this and since trades are outta the question and I was thinking since the trade deadline is today, what about a transfer deadline like say you can't make transfers after a certain day in the season?
I kinda like this idea. It would add some exciting days in the season. I would also like if we could add trading to the game. I know a lot of players use trade to cheat but we could add some restrictions like only 1 or 2 trade per season and a maximum of 2 players per team traded per trade.
Yup! I would love for a deadline because I want to feel like a real GM, it would be very exciting!

An idea to make it easier to monitor and police, but which I do think would be fun:
A trade market where you list a player as for sale in order to solicit trade bids. Teams could offer a player, cash, or a combination of both. The team owner can either accept, reject, or propose a counter-offer.
In order to police, you could set a minimum bidding period, as with the open market.

We have that minus the player aspect and minus the counter-offer. I don't think you'll ever see player-for-player swaps in PPM.
I know that a lot of players use trade to cheat but why? I personnaly think that transfer is a bit lame.
There is always a winner and loser in trading. An open market ensures a more fair value inherently.
