I'd sell right away tho, beginning of season is a bonus
Not suggesting a trade of course but we personally think that the 2 B's and 2 C's we drafted today, bundled up with a pretty bow and a certain undisclosed cash payment would be fair value for that juicy little A LD that went 3rd overall...
What do you guys suggest to put our good young prospects on the market? Should we put a high bid price or start it low and hope that it rises? I wouldn't want to lose one of my best prospects for 10k if the market doesn't recognize their value at that time.
Also, should I put them on the market for a week or just two days? Do people scout the market much in advance?
For example, I have Johnnie Aiken 15yo 6/6 392OR with df, of, sho, tec and agr over 90 atributes. Also, Elvin Petrakis 15 yo 470 OR, off, sho and tec over 90 with agr at 78.
My facilities are not bad (14 Training, 14 in construction for sports academy), but I could really use the money that a nice prospect could fetch to build up my facilities some more.

Here's my advice. If you don't want to lose him, but need money, put him on the market for what similar players are going for at the very least. Market is a funny thing. Player can sell for 1.5M one day and 75M the next. A lot of luck
Thank you for the advice.
I decided to put him on the market at 5M to start. He is on the market until next Wednesday and there is already a bidder. I hope there is a bidding war and that number reaches the kind of numbers some posters say in this thread. And now, shameless promotion in case one of you want to keep him in Canada:

Well the auction just ended and he raised 79.5M! That is great for my team, it will allow me to progress much faster than expected!
I am putting two more guys on the market with high attributes, if anyone is interested.

On a team with top facilities and staff he has some potential to be a U18/20 RW, but his CL WILL affect the price you'd get from selling him a bit. You could also train him for a season or 2 and hope his CL doesn't drop, then you might have more chances of someone buying him for a high price, but his development will not be optimal since you only have lvl 13 training facilities.
The fact that it is late in the season will also affect his potential, thus how much he will gather you on the market too, so be aware of that.
Still, I think your best move would be to sell him, and use the money you get to improve your arena seating so you can pay for the facilities and staff required to raise those players further down the line.

I have been blessed with a new really good youngster defenseman. 300 OR, 6/6 99D, 99Pas, 99tec, 85agr. I put him on the market for 5M. Keep him in Canada?

OR about 100-150 too low for my liking but I'll see if I can't drive the price up.
Much appreciated! Thank you. My lvl14 sports academy is coming up soon, hopefully it helps improve the OR of my recruits.
