expert was right, but the score was tight... anyway, I'll take the 3 pts for sure
Well, expert was wrong this time. I tried it again, it told me I had a 65% chance of winning, then I lost 5-2 :/
It's fed and his rangers, they always find a way to squeek out at least one against me, haha.
Hey, I just noticed, you jumped me in the standings today!! What a difference a season makes, I'm really happy to see you doing well this time around.

Not for long man haha. I did spend quite a lot last season so it's good to see it pay off. Now I'm just planning to stay as a playoff team in II for the next several seasons and get my seats built.
I wonder how one could improve his goaltender's save percentage. Starting goalie lets in 2 goals on 4 shots and the backup doesn't do much better. I really haven't had the luxury of relying on the goalies to makes saves in League II, even if my starting goalie has relatively high strength, the save percentage never reflects it.
I've historically trained my goalies with a technique ratio of roughly 60-70% of the goaltending attribute whenever the quality allowed for it and I always seem to have good success with my goalies. Looking at the league's player statistics, I can see all three of my goalies are currently in the top 10 for save percentage.
Having a strong defensive core appears to help with reducing the amount of shots against as well as the quality of the shots. Finally, electing for the defensive based tactics can also help in that regard.

I've noticed your three goalies as well.. It's very impressive actually. Thanks for the advice, I am going to get started on that training right away.
do you find that teams with strong defence leads to low quality shots against them? i see a slight trend in this, but i wanted to hear others' opinion
Purely anecdotal but it does seem to be the case. Of course everything is relative to the other team's strengths and weaknesses. Someone get Canucks on this!!!
I guess my luck ran out today. What a joke of a game, moments like this make PPM deflating.
Ouch... Probably the biggest robbery i've ever seen.
