You might be right, he came in with 3.5 stars across the board.
I was hoping the guy I drafted in the first round "Jonathon Gaudreault" might turn out to be as good as some person in real life. Only 3 stars at wing though! ![;) ;)](https://appspowerplaymanager.vshcdn.net/images/ppm/smiles/new/winking.png)
Got a 3.5 star at wing for my 3rd-round pick as well.

The devs have been listening. Sounds like there is going to be fewer drafts next season, but more and higher quality players.
From Canucks357:
"Draft going to 2 per season. Player pool will be 4x as big, number of picks will be 2x as many. There will still be 8 SA pulls/season, but with weeks 1-4 and 9-12 providing the pulls. This will make the first round a solid draft of A-quality players and won't dilute the player pool since the net influx is still the same."

Yes. Not quite.
The amount of quality players will remain the same. The access to them will be more evenly distributed. There will be more A players in round 1 since, well, the pool is larger. But, the overall player pool will be the same as if we had 16 SA pulls or 16 drafts under the former setup. The key now is the C and D players won't get drafted and not pulled... they'll simply rot away waiting for their phone call that never comes

I knew I didnt word that right, thanks for the clarification. More A players in round 1 is the key. We were discussing awhile back that it would be good if there were fewer drafts, but have at least the top 10 or so draft picks be worth it.
Exactly. And these players essentially will no longer be drafted. Consider this:
4 drafts in one. But you only get your first 2 picks in each draft. You'll get all A and B players, chopping off the C and D players. That is essentially what'll be the end result.

I've had 3 A players in hockey and handball. None of them have been worth keeping.
sounds like that will change too. The ones that have one shitty attribute will get a lower rating now. So the quality of A players should be higher.
So every team placed 1st-7th have clinched playoff spots. The battle for 8th is effing hell, my team and the Firewolves have a couple of tough games left while Bras Meurtis have one tough game.
So if Quebec Nordiques and Fedidit Rangers want to send out their 2nd lineup against me in exchange for bribes, let me know
