Home ice is HUGE! Definitely worth shooting for 1st rather than 2nd and 4th rather than 5th!
Terrible-TERRIBLE record in the last 3 games.
I'm not making excuses, but I failed to switch tactics in those 3 games.
I still have 9 games to redeem myself.

Yeah, especially when looking at relegation zones 9th-16th.
If you are 4th and have the advantage first round over 5th place even if they are an evenly matched team, and win... then you've avoided the relegation round completely.. this is my goal and why I am thinking of it so much.
I had to do the promotion round last season, and it made my Training Camp spill into the beginning of this season.

Since I do not face you, and I don't forsee passing you.. I would appreciate it if you won all your games...
If the top 8 could just grind the rest of their opponents into the ground, including myself, it should still serve to help me because I do not have many top 8 games left. The end of my season is so much better than the beginning.

Wow, I was stymied by the goaltender in my game.
30 shots and only one goal (which was on the PP).
My goalie on the other hand let in 3 goals on 26 shots.

This time, I got pretty lucky. I was away for the week-end and didn't prepare my team in time for today's game.
I got a clutch injury and my lines were all messed-up. Moreover, my tactics were the same for a couple days (predictable for my opponent) but still got away with the win on the road.

I re-did all my lines and everything last night, apparently my top line clicked really well.
I may need to tinker with the second and third lines.
