Something tells me you played offensive and higher importance.
THEY SCORE!
PIGS WIN! PIGS WIN!
Mika Hyry buries a big slap shot on a breakaway with only 27 seconds left to defeat RCR!

Defensive - normal start and it looks like it went high-high afterwards if my tactics are correct.
Tough start for my lads. Points in all games so far though.
Long season. I still predict a top 3 finish for RCR. Today's OTL might make it difficult to beat my Pigs though

Especially since my OTS will only get weaker as the year goes on due to player sales. Perhaps I should buy some 1500 OR guys with my 300M... like someone advised me

He's unique. If it makes you feel better, that's ten times what I have.
In Canada, there is not a lot of teams with so much cash. But I'm pretty sure there is 100s of teams around the world with way much cash than Canucks. I have an average team and I had 225M$ in hands at the start of the season. All spent on stands, but I had it !

You were saving up, I presume, for those stands.
I reached my highest ever lump sum of cash reserves at the end of last season. I can't recall what that sum was, but I know that I was able to afford a 91.5M upgrade and then a 56.55M upgrade 10 days later, which I know left less than 10M in my account afterwards. I think there were two sponsorship payments and a placement award between the two upgrades, but that gives you an idea of what I had.

I am 219th in the world for cash, 7th in Canada with I.1 teams having more and one div3 team.
All this cash comes from my rink. As my facilities and rink are done I'm simply waiting for the right time on the market.
There were many seasons where I didn't spend a time on anything but my rink and I was often in the red for weeks at a time. Paid my dues, now if only my players would pay me back by winning

Even though it's nice to have cash on hand so that you can mine the market, I find there is something very satisfying about running a budget close to the wire.
I'm almost always cutting it close to make my improvements on a timetable and I regularly employ the use of loans to accelerate my growth.
Today a large seated section goes down and a max section goes up! First loan of the season to get 'er done.
