In a critical game against the Bricktown TwigStarz, Calgary Patches' defenceman Christoper Crawford came up huge scoring a goal in the opening frame and adding two helpers in the remainder of the game. The Patches went on to win 8-2 and have a tentative hold on a playoff position this far into the season.
Crawford, with the goal, is the 27th player in Calgary Patches history to reach the 100 career points with the team. He is currently the 8th highest career point getter actively with the team. Ellis Clark is on the radar for the next milestone as he is 6 points away from 200 career points with the team.

Disappointing home ice loss for the Raging Pigs today who outshot the opposing Screaming Weasels 33-12. With the loss, the Raging Pigs dropped from first to fourth in the conference, in what is shaping up to be an exciting race to the finish with four teams, the Screaming Weasels, Skillz that Killz, and Fleur de Lys, all separated by only one point.
The Pigs allowed a shorthanded marker late in the third period, the 4th shorthanded goal allowed on the season for the Pigs.
Cecil Duncan absolutely stood on his head for the Screaming Weasels. Meanwhile, at the other end of the ice, Kristopher Szabo turned in yet another substandard performance in his first season as the Raging Pigs' starting goaltender.
Buzz around the team suggests that the Pigs may be looking to add a veteran goaltender this off-season while they await the maturation of Nestor Schmidt, but there is no indication that they are looking to make any additions to shore up the faltering power-play.

The Weasels have not been dominated in a league game like that since being in I.1. To come away with the win is astounding. We'll definitely take it.
Due to the fact that the Weasels will need to schedule a couple training camps, there is no way we'll keep pace with the top teams. We're currently looking at 5th or 6th place.

That Fleur de Lys loss to the Maple Leafs of Sarnia was ridiculous!
43-19 shots on goal. 14-2 power play opportunities. My goodness. Thank you Sarnia goalie for stealing one and letting me leapfrog Fleur in the standings!

Ellis Clark scored a hat trick in the Calgary Patches last game of the year. The game against the Dream Team was widely billed as the redemption game for many players and Clark shone brightly in helping his team win. His three goals lifts him over the 200 career points milestone with the Patches. He is the 6th player in Patches history to reach that milestone, and Glenn Bradley is the only lone active player on that list ahead of him (with 361 points.)
Here we go again Elpatzer. Same match-up as last season. Again, my 2 vs your 3 seed. Last time you won, 2 games to 1. Good luck.
Well that was a blow-out.
The Screaming Weasels are obviously still a class above the Raging Pigs, made abundantly clear when they switch from 4 lines to 3. The Raging Pigs are a deep squad without much stand-out talent, but the Screaming Weasels are loaded with superstars on the top two lines.

Beat TMO and started a training camp. Looks like I'll be facing II.3's 2nd place finisher who should destroy me given my lack of energy.
Nice to see I'm not the only one Div. I team falling to II.3. Bad timing for a training camp, isn't ?

No I have one left. If I didn't do it now it'd spill into next season since I can't run it during the P/R round since my OTS would be lower and my sponsors would punish me.
should be an easy promote then.
I don't know if I'm glad about that or not

I'll likely go VH, at least for one of the games. But I'm around 160 OTS. So whomever finishes 2nd should be fine.
I've decided this is a good thing. With promotion money I think I'll be able to upgrade my stadium to full capacity
