Good on ya, keep at it.
It is certainly a big step up from III.11. My goal was to compete for a playoff spot and that's where I am right now. I'm pleased. Just gotta keep growing the team. Baby steps, indeed.

Also, I believe I started about 2 seasons behind because when I began playing I wasn't set up to play the game on a daily basis, so I had to set up for a week at a time, really hurt. I'm on the road all the time, makes a difference not having access for 5-7 or more days at a time.
There, Mr Mullings, today I feel my second team put it's best foot forward according to my scouting staff. If you look at the relevant stats combined to create a realistic game day event. There's no way a team with the differential attributes and team strengths would get 11 penalties, spend one full period in the penalty box and end up in a shootout situation at the end of regulation, talk about long odds, no matter what the differential between the teams might be. This is the type of detailed stat I feel is needed to compete with these guys. I can go back at least two or three weeks worth of games and show the same type of incongruent team differentials. However, there are more factors in the mitigation of my squad as opposed to other teams also, like the natural progression of your team. Good for later discussion.
I hear ya. I didn't start 'til the end of season 3.
Another brutal loss for the Pigs. This time despite dominating play (shots were 36-20).
The result: a 4 way tie for 8th. Going to be a wild race to the finish.

Wow. No idea how you won that one. Your line strengths are consistently well below Strasbourg's. I think home ice is a great equalizer.
Not real big on the home ice deal. I just try to deal with the strengths of my next opponent. So I almost have one strike against me at the start of the game, but it is my #2 team line up. I ration out all my games to try and save overall energy for when I might need it. Seems like an advantage to have a whole second team to work with, fun for me anyway. With team overall skill advancement it might work out in a couple of seasons to where I can reduce game energy and keep up with the teams in this league, anyway. Been hangin on.
Good Morning. Yea, I like working with a lot of players. I know it's going to take a few seasons to work into a higher level league. I like to see the advancement of the individual and the team as a whole. The matching and scouting are very interesting. I've played a lot of hockey, have friends that coach at various levels, been into it my whole life, so when I found PPM it was really attractive. It's probably the best on line game to I've seen. I really admire the work these guys do to keep it rolling. Still quirks to work out, but overall, can't beat it.
Thanks, I've started a run of wins going that's been interrupted by a loss about 5 games ago...
Should be an interesting last 2 weeks of the season.

I am once again befuddled by the all-star selection for goalie.
Sedgley seems to be winning on reputation alone!

Come on I lose to the Stars, With only 5 secs left. This is my second worse loss ever!!!!!! (First allowing 5 goals in the last 5 minutes to lose 5-4 in HA)
I am so lucky. I played with the wrong tactics. I meant to come out on high and switch to very high or normal depending on the score, but forgot to switch my planning page.
Playoffs baby!
