This coming from the guy who supports a team that was fodder for the entire league for years. Don't even get me started on their insane contracts for mid-rate one-dimensional players this year. Perpetuating the system!!! LOVE IT!
Speaking of mismanagement and bad contracts, how did that goaltending situation work out for you?
You mean the one where we traded away the better long-term goalie but kept the one who turned the franchise around? My only complaint is that they took a lesser deal to keep Schneider out of their division. At least Lack looks decent

Bo Horvat looked like a pretty mediocre complimentary player for the Canadian junior squad, soooo you know, good job in moving a bona fide starting NHL goaltending for a fringe prospect who will likely never make an impact while the ageing core of your team is intact.
Hear that? That's the sound of the window of icing a competitive team closing.

Surprised I could hear your voice... the Leafs' window iced in 1967 and has yet to even begin to thaw.
Aside, of course, from the years 1999 through 2003 when the Leafs made the playoffs each season, advancing past the first round in 4 of those 5 years and to the conference finals twice (in 1999 and 2002).
Yes, but as with every Toronto team, they could never win it all.
And you won one game last night. I guess that in Toronto that means a great deal.

Oh look, some backup to these I.1 bullies coming into our div2 threads and thinking they're all that. I mean, how can anyone even take him seriously... he has a Kaberle picture for his display pic.
I lost the season series to [hockey_team=37048] by identical 4:3 SO scores. That pretty much puts 2nd place out of reach.
You could have won both. Season games don't mean much. It will be different in the playoff rounds... espescially if you continue to add good players !
I'm out of money and want to focus more on facilities - so more solid players not likely this season
Good game Temm. You always play me tough. Happy that today there were no player milestones at my expense
Though, today Braden Dubeau passed former player Teodor Vaverka for 2nd in all-time franchise regular season points.

Looking like if I make the playoffs it will be RCR in the first round. Oh well, it can be fun playing the role of underdog.
