I don’t know but I just receive a 15 mil raise for my general and a 42 mil raise for my media!
That’s what coming in first will do!
I don’t get how I take such a hit. Higher reg season finish, 1 spot lower playoff finish.

Did you lose a manager with high marketing skill over the course of the season? You have 131 and 109 OR for your top 2 members there, so that can't be super optimal.
Well, here I am in divsion one, sitting in ninth place, probably the highest spot for me this season. Focus, meditate, and.......steal!!
So the tally of my sponsor offers is as follows:
Last season: 36 396 942 / week
Next season: sky boxes: 37 437 195 / week
So roughly a 1M a week increase over what I got from winning division 2 top spots for a 6th (6th!) place finish.
In short, lose the relegation/promotion round, ladies and gentlemen. Finishing 14th and down in I.1 will net you a LOT less money the following season than winning the lower level would. (Especially if you can score a win-based general sponsor)
This is not the incentive I was looking for.

Maybe, but this ssn in I.1, I got way more talent from SA pulls than I did in the past few seasons. I also noticed in the last few seasons a trend that the top league was getting more top end talent this way than lower leagues (where the good young guys almost always have a flaw, like being 5/6). I believe the real advantage of being in I.1 is having the better young players coming up.
I guess 2 seasons ago (when I finished 14th and relegated) was my best talent pull in a long, long time... But this season I got 1 player worth keeping, and he is kind of meh. I doubt my draft pick will be interesting, either, so I don't have high hopes. I think it's more a matter of luck and catching the right draft order for your position + SA pulls which are REALLY random and more dependent on facilities than league level (although I did notice a trend of the SA pulls being a little lower OR when I was in II.2, but nothing a good AQ wouldn't fix over time)
Personally I have noticed, and I know the sample size is too small for definitive answers, lower starting OR in lower leagues, but also, almost every time I would pull a good player, he would be 5/6. I have not had nearly as many 5/6 players with good potential this season.
Might be just an anecdote, but seeing the talented 15 yo and 16 yo in I.1 against the rest of the league, I think league level probably factors in.

You also have to keep in mind most of the I.1 teams have top facilities and staff, which is only the case of a few teams in level 2. And in my scouting experience, the higher quality players tend to come from the lower leagues, they just never get a chance to train their OR to be up to par. I think it's Black Metal that has a TON of those guys, but until recently had nowhere near the facilities to train them.
Wow, my best pick from the draft is only 394 OR. He's also got a craptastic quality distribution. I guess I was bound to not get much for a few seasons after I pulled Neath, Jensen and McMillan (who are now all 18) in the same season, eh? xP
It's worse here. My A pick turns out to start at low-300 OR and still only 3.5 stars, so probably won't be anything special. Only one more pick has 3 stars in any one department and less than 350 OR. We will see when the actual Q's arrive, but not much to look forward to in this crop.
PS... This is another advantage of higher leagues. I have top daxilities and never got such low OR players last season. It's fine though. There should be incentives to perform.

Oh, yeah, I'm definitiely with you on the higher leagues getting better OR out of the gates. But I have a number of prospects from when I was in II.X that are now staples in my team and that were fixtures on the NT level, too. If you get the qualities, the starting OR being a little low is not a deal breaker. And that doesn't go with league level AFAIK.
Was traveling all of Monday so I missed a lot of the end of season and start of season news. I was forced into a win-focused GS, not ideal given my mass exodus. However, love that my top D pair is 800+ in line strength.
Not taking any draftees.
Camp ends after today in time for Game 2 and the first CWC match.

Week after the draft, 334 (kinda yuck) OR 6/6 UD with 4.5 stars and 4 stars in everything else.
Why, thank you PPM. That's very generous of you.
Now, who offered Cartier 48 frickin million dollars? I was finally starting to pile up a bit of money. *cries*
