Did anyone get anything useful in this draft? I scouted all the 6/6 dmen in there. Top one was a B. I only drafted Cs and they're not even train and sell. Complete crap.

Nope. Nothing. Another craptacular haul into the Sports Academy is all, except with a big hullabaloo attached to it.

I think the draft was more for weaker teams. I have only ever drafted 1 player that was 80AQ on the nose. Weak teams need this. Rich teams search for the best of the best. I know both feelings. My soccer team value - over 10 billion. My hockey team value - 500-700 mil at best.

Don't think so. Hard to believe we had one A 6/6 player and he's crippled by 3 Qs in the low 50s.

Well, that seriously put a dent in my goal differential .

On the bright side, my attendance won't be hindered AND my players gained a full EXP point in one game. I should be able to get them 10-15 this season despite only playing friendlies and 8 or so league games.

The weaker teams are going to pull the same 3* or lower garbage with their selections, even if you assume they scouted well.

The weaker teams will also not be able to scout as many players making it less likely for them to use their pick wisely. The weaker teams also likely have lower level SAs, meaning they will pick in the bottom half of the first round in half of the drafts (starting with Saturday's).

The weaker teams also don't get higher OR players. SA still influences OR for the pull.

In sum, if the draft had *any* worthwhile players in it, it still would have been a matter of the rich get richer.

I thought the draft's player OR should be representative of the average SA level and staff of the league. That would be another incentive for teams to promote.
