Asunto: US Under 19 Team

I found one I want to draft in the 9th spot. I'm trusting you'll let him slide down to me, right?

yeah, that means someone else will do it unless i spend my tokens.

I dont have much left and i told myself that when they are gone i quit ppm.

so.. if i use them to scout i will be gone very soon

caps probably found if there is one. And even though i didnt scout till last week, i still have 30 players to scout. who knows i could find him

hate that i cant edit (2 minutes, really?)
If there is one A+ and i didnt select (cause ppm never reminded me of the draft) it will likely be the last straw and i will very likely hit the delete button for hockey

Blegh... you guys keep talking about Hockey drafts in my Handball U19 National Team thread.

Keep making me think there's something that warrants my attention.

They are up until you're selling out all of your games. At that point, more accessories would only increase friendly attendance, and that's not worth it from what I've seen.

You know you can check the date new draftee names are revealed, right? It's not PPM's fault if you didn't log in that day, if you had, you would've gotten the annoying pop-up that tells you the new players are available.

If you want to delete hockey (although I don't really want to lose another player) go for it, but don't blame PPM when the mistake is yours. There are plenty of other of legitimate things to gripe about.

Really? So i miss one email of players have bben announced and the only other time i hear about is when draft order is announced?

But they can spam my email box so bad with stupid "you were assigned to te of the day"

Yeah. Its my fault i dont go to teams draft everyday to check if i missed something.becajse of course there are tons of reason to go to that page...

Guess what, soccer was in and i missed too. Ofyen i miss a whole week in handball. This is annoyinf me to a point i am not caring for ppm and think on quiting.

I don't know about anyone else, but I get the "Team of the Day" emails once a week, for all 4 sports. They're easy enough to ignore, in my opinion.

Can you let me know if any of my 15-18 year olds will become of interest to the team in the future? I'll have a level 14 training facility by midseason. I can focus more on low influence attributes and specialization than I otherwise would for any players that might be of interest.

Looks like if Billy Spencer's Q's are as good as my unscouted is telling me than he might stand a chance to join in future seasons.

Well... losing Last Place McGees was a pretty big blow... but at least his star players who were already on the U19 national team were "saved."

All 5 of them just auctioned to teams with level 13 or better Training Facilities. 3 of them stayed in the U.S. (with Emus and Mojo dropping a whopping $254M to keep Clint Wicker (wing),Stan Sikes (wing), and Nathaniel Cunningham (goalie) stateside.

Leon Ware (offensive pivot) and Houston Schaefer (a depth back). went away though.

I was bidding for a bit on Ware, but I ultimately decided it best for the long run if I continue focusing on my facilities (I'll start my level 15 SA within the next week).

Anyways... I just wanted to write a quick post to thank the US managers out there who made bids (I saw capsaicin in there too) and won auctions on these guys.

Tough game yesterday. Getting a steal there wouldve been pretty huge. We're solidly the 4th best team in our division, so getting steals against some of the better teams is imperative to advancing out of the round robin round.

Yesterday was a rather disheartening setback in that regard.

Today we managed to steal a win against a very good U19 Italy team. Their team rating is 122 compared to our 108.

We now have two wins in the group, and whether or not we advance is completely within our hands (as opposed to our chances being dependent on other teams winning or losing in certain ways).

If we can beat Belarus again, and take down Latvia at home, we're sitting in a pretty good spot going into the final qualification match against Hungary.

Well... today we lost a game we really, really wanted to win.

With a win at home against Latvia, we could've locked up a qualification spot. We were winning at the half, but didn't change tactics in an effective way and ended up losing.

Tough, because Latvia is a team that NEVER trails at the half (despite having only 1 win going into today's matchup, they went into the 2nd half of every previous qualification match with a lead)... so there wasn't really any way to figure out what they might do if they were losing.

So now we need to win our last game against a very very difficult team to have a shot at advancing. Perhaps they will be conserving energy? Who knows. But it sure would've been nice to have won today... then the last game wouldn't have mattered one way or another...
