How much of a penalty does a player get for playing on the wrong side? I have about 100 left sided defenders, and very few U or Right sided and I might have to play some out of position if I get injuries.
Sorry, been trying to find it but can't... Why is it a good idea to wait to pull youngsters from the academy? Surely you get 3 extra days training if you do it on the thursday they come out?
There are two primary reasons you wait to pull
1. Academy Upgrade
if your academy will be upgraded before the next pull it may be worth it to wait to get more/better trained pulls. Especially if its only a couple days
2. Last Pull of the season
If you pull players before the season processing they will age, so you basically lose a year of their career for three extra days. If you wait till the 1st day of the new season you get a full season to train him.
Note this only works if you do not visit the page. The minute players are displayed they are technically "pulled" whether you sign them or not and will be based on your current academy and will age at the season turnover.
Otherwise there is no real reason to wait to pull players

Why is it that when a player is injured they can play a game but not train?
I think they should be able to both (to a significantly lower level than normal) OR neither.

the thinking behind that is, that they are in fact training, but only to get back to full fitness.
Sorry guys, another question for you.
I always thought the smaller, grey numbers by the players attributes were their skills' quality, i.e. how rapidly they would improve that skill. I noted them down for my players, and they keep changing! So what do they represent? Because i thought the quality of the skill was consistant...

yes, you're right, small grey numbers are qualities, an yes, they're changing
but they're changing only if you didn't scout that player
if you scout them, grey numbers will become green and they never change again

yes, if you want to now exact numbers, but training is not affected by unscouted numbers, players will always train according their real qualities
It's not exactly crystal-clear in the English rules I think - I know I read it 5 times and had to check.
Question, if i have an ice cover, which i purchased for 5 credits, and i purchase another, does swapping between them become free or does each change cost 5 credits?
