Thanks for the explanation. I totally understand why you pick 16 and 17 yo (I did the same when I was in charge of Portugal some seasons ago). And I agree with waht you said. You might want to check Strauss though. He's a center not a winger (unless you were thinking of Swailes )
I really hope he will be selected in U20. My team developement is centered on player developement. And the bonus a player gets in NT is invaluable to me.
Anyway thanks again for the explanation and good luck for this season.
At least I learned that some teams still are developing pass for wingers and shoot for defenders. That's got a hurt the team rating a lot.

Not as an excuse, but I am currently following exactly 999 Canadian players of current interest from across the globe. The occasional error or omission is a real possibility.
As far as passing wingers, and shooting defensemen, IMO there is no reason to train in these attributes unless the training percentage is very high (90+).
All the best to you and your PPM team(s).

I have a goalie for consideration for the U18 team.
Trevor MacDonnell, 99 Goa, 99 Pas and Tec 98.
He is almost perfect, he is 4/5 CL

I forgot to say that his fresh out of the Academy OR was 454 and AvQ is 96%
Dang that's a great player. High OR start of season too.
You already have Merson. Do you not want to leave any goalies for the rest of us? Nice catch
Season 49:
After a first game 5-4 S/O loss today against Latvia, we will need to beat Spain tomorrow, as our final game against Slovakia may not be an easy one.!!

Today, a 6-0 loss to Slovakia, but we move ahead to the qualifying round. We rested our top two lines today. Tomorrow we play Slovenia.
A 3-1 win over Slovenia today keeps us in the hunt for a final eight playoff spot.!! Tomorrow a very tough team from Finland.!!
A 3-2 loss to Finland today, means we must beat Croatia tomorrow, in regulation, to have a chance at making the final eight.
Although we had decent tactics, the edge in time of possession, all three stars were Canadian, and we had a modest advantage in line strengths, we lost 3-2 to Croatia and will miss the final eight.
