Wow greens we have one heck of a series going on! The Mallards win in a SHOOTOUT over the greens 1-0 to send the series to a decisive game 3 on Friday for the bronze!
Good luck Bridgeport in the Relegation/Promotion round! I hope it works out well for you buddy and congrats Raging Bulls. I tried to keep up with you both and your pickups but I was a little late to the market
Last night was a all out party in San Marcos as The Raging Bulls closed off a sweep in the playoffs with a 5-0 shutout win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Bulls were happy to be able to close out the series on home ice in front of the ecstatic 2,000 fans that were in the arena with more outside the stadium tailgating. Libor Cempírek lead the Bulls with a hat trick grabbing the first of the three stars for the night. However their was no fought who the Bulls would choose as their MVP. That man was the first line center, assistant captain František Sušánka. In the playoffs František scored 10 goals, assisted on 14 other goals, and made the 3 stars for every game in the playoffs. When asked how much this meant to him, "I'm so happy. This was a young team that was struggling to keep up. They brought me in and looked to me to be a leader. I wasn't sure how to handle it at first, but Chad took me under his wing and helped me get comfortable with the new team. Soon we started to win games big time. I felt I could get as aggressive as I wanted to and not have to worry about turning the puck over. That's because I had Félix back in net and Midorag and Jakub behind me defending. I can't wait till next year where I plan to help lead the team to another playoff run." After that he went to meet up with his team to celebrate in the locker room with champagne. During he chaos in the locker room we were able to pull aside the GM. We asked him how he was able to bring his team here, "it's all thanks to the players. I may have made some key moves, however it was up to the team to come together and worked to win the games. I'm so proud of them for accepting the moves and cheering them on like they have been apart of the team forever. I'll worry about getting ready for d2 later, because right now we've earned some time to celebrate."
With the Bulls win last night they will head in to join the ranks of a d2 league. One other team will advance with them as well. This will be the winner of the promotion round. With two teams leaving the league there's no telling how the balance of power will shift next season here in this league.

Also if you were wondering how I built my team pm me and I'll give you some tips other have given me.
Had fun playing you rampage. I hope we can set up a challenge next season.
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers came up just short of silverware this season, failing to capture either the regular season or the Playoff Championship after falling to the Raging Bulls 2-0 in a Best of three series.
The playoffs began brightly for the Tigers when they swept the Denver Hawks (under new ownership). They then had the tough task of overcoming 2 seed Greens. After handily winning the first game away from home 9-0 the Tigers returned to The Arena at Harbor Yard to close the series out but were defeated by a hardworking Greens squad 2-1. Nerves were high as Bridgeport would have to win the series at the Coors Arena to go through to the Championship. Luckily, it seemed Greens had gave everything they could in the prior game and Bridgeport walked to an 8-0 win and a shot at the Cup.
Unfortunately they ran into the buzzsaw that was the Raging Bulls. Even with the recently added experience of veteran players Andrey Tkachuk and Alexander Lemeshev the Tigers were not able to overcome the strength of the Bull's first line and could not break down their defense, Being shut out in both games despite a change in tactics by the head coach for Game 2. Captain and league leading scorer during the regular season Jonas Silberbauer finished the playoffs with 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points, good for fourth in the league. Not far behind were Kirill Novikov with 7 goals and 5 assists for 12 points and Andrey Tkachuk with 7 goals and 4 assists for 11 points.
Yesterday GM Kelly gave out the 3 stars of the season awards to 3 very deserving players. the Third Star of the season was presented to goaltender Cichan Žabaroŭski who amassed 7 Shutouts this season to go along with his 1.13 GAA and 92% Save Percentage. The Second Star of the Season was awarded to Offensive Defenseman #2 Vincent Sandberg . At just 20 years old Vinny played on the top pairing all season long shutting down the oppositions top players with the help of his partner Georgi Baldzhiev . While Georgi played the more defensive role, Vincent was a major contributor to the Tiger's offense this season, chipping in 20 Goals and 30 Assists this season. The first star of the Season could be none other than league leading goal scorer and point scorer during the regular season, member of the season long All-Star team, Team captain and leader Jonas Silberbauer . The 29 year old Dane put up great numbers this season. In 23 Games played, Jonas scored 53 Goals while dishing out 40 assists for a total 93 points. For his efforts this season, The Club's first under new management, Silberbauer was also given the honor of being the first ever player inducted into the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Hall of Fame.
The Sound Tigers franchise now looks forward towards next season and beyond, The off season has begun.
